Before his untimely death in late 2020, Benny Mardones last recorded work was this re-sung, orchestral version of his 1980 mega hit "Into The Night".

Mardones as a young songwriter in the 60's/70's had written for everyone from Chubby Checker to Brenda Lee, but "Into the Night" propelled him onto the world stage in his own right.

This final work pays fitting tribute to that moment in time, with the Orchestra doing grand justice to a timeless song, lifting it up and into new sonic terrain, whilst very much retaining the essence of the original, but equally sympathetic versions (including orchestral instrumentals).
